ThreatQ Hosted Instance Upgrade Procedure

ThreatQ Hosted instance upgrades are managed through ThreatQuotient's standardized change management process and scheduled during each customer’s designated maintenance window. Customers no longer need to request individual upgrades.

This process provides advance notice of upcoming changes, consistent internal review, and predictable upgrade scheduling while supporting platform availability and service quality.

Designate a Maintenance Window

Your Technical Account Manager (TAM) will contact you to establish a preferred day of the week and time for your maintenance window.

If you have not received this communication, contact your Account Manager or TAM to establish your maintenance window.

Upgrade Process

The ThreatQ Hosted upgrade process includes the following steps:

  1. Upgrade scheduling
Securonix schedules the upgrade during your designated maintenance window.

  2. Advance notification
You receive notification at least two weeks before the scheduled upgrade.

  3. Customer review
Review the upgrade notice and contact your Account Manager or TAM with any questions, concerns, or coordination requirements.

  4. Upgrade implementation
Unless you request a delay, ThreatQuotient completes the upgrade during the scheduled maintenance window.

  5. Upgrade postponement
You may decline or postpone a scheduled upgrade if necessary. The upgrade will then be scheduled for the next maintenance window cycle.

Questions and Additional Coordination

Your Account Manager and TAM remain your primary points of contact throughout the upgrade process. Contact them before the scheduled upgrade if you have questions, concerns, or requirements that may require additional coordination.
