Two step verification, also known as two Factor Authentication, adds an extra layer of security to your account.

After two step verification is active, you will sign into ThreatQ with your password and a code sent to your mobile device.

Before you begin, confirm that you are using an authentication app that supports scanning QR codes.

For this video I will be using Microsoft Authenticator.

To enable two step verification click on your user avatar and select my account.

Locate the enable 2 step verification section and click on the enabled toggle switch.

Scan the QR code using your authenticator mobile app.

Enter the code from the app in the field for Step 2 and click submit.

Click save at the bottom of the profile page.

The next time you log in, you will be prompted for a verification code after submitting your username and password.
